Secure data environments (SDEs) for research are data storage and access platforms that allow you (once approved) to apply, securely access and analyse pseudonymised health and social care data.
NHS England and the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) are investing in the development of a network of 11 regional SDEs for Research and Development across England. The Kent, Medway and Sussex (KMS) SDE is one of these 11.
These SDEs will provide you with rich, linked health and social care datasets through a seamless, repeatable and easy to navigate process.
