Digital and Data People's Panel

The Digital and Data People’s Panel has been set up to ensure that the views and needs of our people and communities are the foundations on which we build and develop digital and data services.

14 people including carers, existing Digital Citizens, people with lived experience of physical and mental health conditions, people who are less digitally able, Healthwatch and Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise partners.

The Panel launched in November 2023, and will run until April 2025. The Panel has:

  • Supported the Digital Exclusion Baseline Project
  • Undertaken user testing on the NHS App, and My Health and Care Record
  • Reviewed the Data, Intelligence and Insight Strategy
  • Fed into the development of the re-procurement of My Health and Care Record
  • Fed into the development of the GP Telephony Service Project
  • Reflected on the NHS App, and My Health and Care Record communications, marking and engagement.
  • Commented on the communications material for the Sussex Integrated Dataset Project.
